The Wyoming Chapter is proud to operate as a local hangar fully nested within a historic, tiered global network of female aviators, The International Ninety-Nines, Inc. As an active branch of The Northwest Section, the Wyoming Chapter brings this immense global legacy straight to the prairies and Rocky Mountains, focusing our efforts on grassroots mentorship, local scholarships, and hands-on support for student pilots right here at home.
Directly beneath this international umbrella sits The Northwest Section, our multi-state regional hub that unites 17 distinct chapters across Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming to coordinate regional fly-ins and safety clinics.
At our foundation is The International Ninety-Nines, Inc., established in 1929 by 99 pioneer women pilots with Amelia Earhart as president, which provides our overarching international framework, global fellowship, and massive flight scholarship opportunities across 44 countries.

We believe that no woman should have to navigate her aviation journey alone. We actively connect seasoned professional pilots, recreational flyers, and student pilots to pass down knowledge and encourage one another.

We refuse to let geography limit our community. Operating in a large rural state, we proactively leverage digital tools to unite and support isolated, Wyoming and "at-large" pilots across the mountain and plains regions.

We lower the financial barriers to flight by providing dedicated training scholarships, fuel stipends, and checkride preparation support to help women achieve their aviation goals.
